ok since a whoooooooooooooooooooooooooole lot of stupid people open they mouths imma teach you dat shit !
1. RAP is not HIP HOP
its not a fucking synonyme
when i hear dat shit one more time imma cut the tongue that spoke it with a unsharp tiny little stone !
rap is one of the traditioally 4 pilalrs of hip hop
(i know KRS-One put it 9 pillars but the basic modle is 4 pillars that hold the roof)
rapping - the skill of playing with words and telling stories with rhymes
djing - the skill of controlling a vinyl and reinterprating and developing new shit on the plates
graffiti - the skill of expressing hip hop in pictures and writings
b-boying - the quality of breakdancing
coming to the "HIP HOP IS DEAD"
name me one artist that represents the four pillars of hip hop.
thank you.
hip hop is dead and we fucking burried him in 93 !
now listen
this is what really pisses me off
i love all them rappers today man
BUT RAPPING AINT FUCKING HIP HOP
busta rhymes aint hip hop
cam'ron aint
gay-z aint
50 snitch aint
joey crakk aint
dmx aint
game aint
xzibit aint
scarface aint
ludacris aint
they are all _R_A_P_P_A_Z_ and represent _O_N_E_ _P_I_L_L_A_R_ of hip hop but they don't represent hip hop
to really be even considered to eventually be chosen as a classic hip hop act u have to at least represent 50% !
duo's like
eric b. / rakim
epmd
gang starr
dilated peoples
jazzy jeff & the fresh prince
those were hip hop artists
so dont get confused kids cause dem RAPPAZ wear PLATINUM all around they body !
they RAPPAZ and rap aint dead !
they aint hip hop ! hip hop is dead !
as KRS-One put it in the fresh new track "CLASSIC"
"JEWELS ? I DON'T NEED EM.
WHY ? I GOT YO RESPECT"
now let me list up some lps worth mentionable so u can get an inside in quality raps at least

Agreed, if you represent both aspects of Hip Hop that you can hear, you're make Hip Hop music. Please let me know what you think of Gang Starr - Step In The Arena. I think it's one of the best albums that's ever made. Please, also let me know, are albums like Illmatic Hip Hop albums. It's a solo album, and not made by a duo like Eric B. & Rakim. Still, there are Primo and Large Pro tracks on there. Where is the line between Hip Hop and Rap, cause to me, Illmatic's still Hip Hop. Please join my newly found group Hip-Hop-Music, soon to be the greatest Hip Hop page of dA.
good to see there are still a few people who know what HIP-HOP is.
I just had to express it because MTV Music Awards and such they don't know anything but sell everything
As soon as you cuss and you're black you're hip hop and this is just bull
So I took the time and made this
Thank you a lot my friend! It means a lot!!!
there are a whole lot more good people but i tried to keep the essence
